    An Academically Focused Homeschool Hybrid programming for students ages 7 - 14. NPLG High is programming for students ages 14+ and have completed 8th grade.

    NPLG students are grouped in multi-age/grade classes depending on student's individual academic and social needs. Class sizes are limited to 10 students per specialist. Classes are academically focused and taught by trained and experienced Learning Specialists. Instruction is direct and multisensory in approach. Students are expected to participate in academic activities, including at-home activities. As this is a homeschool support program, students are expected to continue their educational journey with their families on at-home days. Extension activities are offered as an "add-on" for those families that would like additional personalized curriculum support for their student.

    Programming Options:

    NPLG (ages 7 - 14)

    • Full-Time:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM $9,000
    • Part-Time:  Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM $7,800
    • Elective Day:  Wednesdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (limited spots) $3,900
    • Power Plan:  Max-Out Mondays, Full-Time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), Personalized Curriculum, plus two 45-minute sessions of 1:1 Personalized Academic Intervention per week $17,600

    NPLG High (ages 14+, and have completed 8th grade)

    • Full-Time:  Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, $10,500

    The following ADD-ON Services* are available for NPLG students:

    • Max Out Mondays 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon $2,600
    • Personalized Curriculum Development & Support $2,600
    • 1:1 Personalized Academic Intervention/Academic Support Sessions (45-min sessions, 8:15-9:00 OR 2:00 - 2:45, T, W, Th OR 8:15 - 9:00 or 12:00 - 12:45 M or F) 1x week = $2,575; 2x week = $5,150

    * All programming is subject to availability. 

    All Add-Ons, including 1:1 support sessions, are yearly commitments.  They will be charged as part of your contracted tuition.  No refunds for absences. If a specialist cancels 1:1 these sessions, make-ups will be answered. 

  • Description of Learning Opportunities:

    Full & Part-Time Learning Options (NPLG): Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to academically focused classes: Love of Literature, Words & Writing, and Multisensory Math. Wednesdays are Elective Days, focusing on Social Studies/History, Science, and Art. Social Skills are embedded in our classes, focusing on building respect, kindness, and helpfulness.  Students meet 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  $3,900 - $9,000

    NPLG High:  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9:00AM-2:00PM; Agile learning at the high school level.  $10,500

    Max Out Mondays: Optional Add-On - This is an opportunity for students to work on academic foundational skills in a small group setting.  Phonics, vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, writing mechanics, math procedures and concepts, math facts, and fluency.  Students meet 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon.  $2,600

    1:1 Academic Intervention/Therapy:  Optional Add-On - Whether your learner needs Speech/Language Therapy, Math, or Reading Intervention, the Engage the Brain Learning Specialists are ready to work with your learner in a personalized manner.  Our 1:1 sessions are designed solely for each learner.  This is a great time to close the gap with confidence!  Sessions are typically 45 minutes, one or two times per week.  Times are typically 8:15 AM  - 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM T, W, Th or 12:00 - 12:45 Mondays; Fridays are available at various times.  This is a yearly commitment.  $2,575 - $5,150

    Personalized Curriculum:  Optional Add-On - An Engage the Brain Learning Specialist will create and guide your learner with a personalized curriculum.  This includes weekly reading, writing, math assignments, and social studies and science projects.  Specialists will work with your family to check in and monitor progress.  It's a great add-on if you need help with what to do.  $2,600

    Power Plan: This plan includes all NPLG options at a discounted rate.  This includes Max Out Mondays, Tuesday - Thursday NPLG, Personalized Curriculum, plus two 45-minute 1:1 per week intervention sessions.  $17,600

  • Financial Policies

    Responsibility for Payment of Tuition and Fees:  The Financial Agreement with EtB is for the entire school year.  The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who sign the Financial Agreement for the school year are fully responsible for paying all fees according to the established payment schedules of EtB.  Parties who agree to share responsibility for fees must all sign a Financial Agreement and a Withdrawal Policy Agreement.  Parents are responsible for payment of tuition and finance fees and other applicable fees.  2.  Withdrawals:   If a family decides to withdraw from EtB's NPLG, they must notify EtB by June 15, 2026, for the 2026/2027 school year.  You will be reimbursed full tuition minus the $500 nonrefundable tuition deposit. If you withdraw your student any time after this date, you are committed to the entire tuition and fees, regardless of circumstances (i.e., any personal decision).  You will be responsible for the balance of the annual tuition and fees.  3.  School Dismissal:  If the administration dismisses a student for any reason, the tuition for the remainder of the current year and any outstanding fees are due in full. 4. Condition of Attendance: A child may only be admitted to class on the first day of school if the payments are current and paid.  Students may be denied admission to class when an account is 60 days or more in arrears.5. Vacation, Holidays, Illnesses:  Tuition and other fee credits are not available for vacation, holidays, or illnesses.6.  Bad Weather/Hurricane Closure:  NPLG will follow OCPS in regards to bad weather/hurricane closures.  NPLG will open up independently as we see safe and best fit.  NPLG programming has taken into account 3 days for possible closure.  If NPLG needs to be closed for 4 or more days, then additional programming will be offered to families as "make-up days."  7.   Multiple Child Discounts: A sibling discount is taken off tuition for the second and each additional child from the same family registering for the same programming.  Family discounts are as follows: $100 for full-time (T, W, Th), $50 for part-time (T/Th), and $150 for Power Plan. For the discount to apply, all children must be legal dependents of the same person. 8.  Payment Plans: Deposit: A $500 nonrefundable deposit per student is due at the time of registration.  The deposit will be applied to the tuition and is nonrefundable. Semester Plan:  Tuition will be made in two separate payments. The first payment is due July 15, and the second on December 15.  Semester payments will include a $60 finance fee with both payments. Monthly Plan:  Tuition will be made in 10 separate payments.  The first payment is due July 15 and reoccur each month on the 15th (July - April).  Monthly payments will include a $15 finance fee with each of the 10 payments.  All checks should be payable to Engage the Brain.  Any check returned to EtB for non-sufficient funds will have a $35 fee assessed to your account.  Credit cards are accepted with a 3% processing fee. 9.  Other Variable Charges:  Various fees, in addition to tuition, may occur during the school year.  These fees may be related to extra activities, additional curricula planning/designing (by parent election), field trips, or late pick-up.  These fees will be added to your accounts and charged with the following month's charges.  10. Referral Incentives:  For each family that you refer and participates in NPLG, the referring family and new family will receive a $100 discount off their final payment.  We appreciate your support.  Referrals are limited to one referring family.  Referrals must be made in writing.  Thank you. 11.  Families requesting direct billing to the Family Empowerment Scholarship must complete the FES Agreement Form and have a valid credit card on file. Any outstanding invoices will be the family's responsibility and must be paid as expected. 12. All discounts will be taken off the final payment. 13. After July 15, 2026 - Any changes to student's programming that result in a decrease of services will result in a $500 change fee. 14. Please note policies are subject to change.

  • FES Recipients:

    If you would like for Engage the Brain to do direct billing with the Florida Empowerment Scholarship, you must provide Engage the Brain with the following.  We will NOT allow direct billing without both completed items.

    Discounts are only honored to families that have completed the Registration Form and non-refundable $500 deposit has been received. If paying monthly or by the semester, discounts are deducted from your final payment.
