2025-26 VA Scholastic & College Championships

Sat. & Sun., March 7-8, 2026, with Blitz on Friday evening March 6th
Players, Parents, Coaches: The Virginia Chess Federation is proud to once again host the 2025-26 Virginia Scholastic & College Championships. The tournament is a 5-round event, with an Optional BLITZ Tournament on Friday night. This is an "in-person" (over-the-board) tournament. Virginia Residency is required, but there are exceptions (see www.vachess.org).

This is a US CHESS RATED TOURNAMENT.

Entry is $70 for the Main Tournament
Blitz entry is $35

Except for the College Section, there are NO MONETARY PRIZES for this tournament. Awards in all K-3, K-5, K-8 and K-12 sections are Trophies or Plaques presented onsite during the Awards Ceremony at the end of the tournament. We do not ship trophies to players or teams who leave early, so please arrange to have someone pickup your trophy on your behalf if you must depart early.
