Cove Point Natural Heritage Trust invites you to join our Nighttime FrogWatch Herpetology Study at Cove Point, a hike guided by Matt Neff (Curator, Calvert Marine Museum). This is an educational evening woodland hike focused on listening for mating calls and identifying frog species during peak breeding season, highlighting amphibian behavior, habitats and the importance of protecting vernal pools.

Location: Meet at the Cove Point Lighthouse parking lot (X on map)
Route: Approximately 200 yards round trip. Beginner level hike on flat, even surface. (Green route on map)
Please Wear/Bring: Long pants and long sleeves, sturdy footwear for hiking, water, insect repellent
