About the Festival
The annual Dublin Pride Parade culminates in a full day festival in Merrion Square that operates between 1pm and 6pm. Over 40,000 people pass through the festival site with approximately 6,000 people inside the park during the peak hours. The festival site includes a main stage, activations, stalls and a variety of food and beverage vendors.
This form is for non-food vendors. The closing date to apply to trade at the festival is March 31st 2026. If you are a food or beverage vendor please use this form.
Health & Safety
All vendors must be fully compliant with all relevant health and safety requirements and be in a position to provide certifications, insurance, risk assesments, etc in advance of the event. You may also be required to obtain a casual trading permit from Dublin City Council.
Fees and Pitch Details
The typical pitch fees for a festival of our size would be in the thousands of euro, however as a non-profit community organisation we are happy to be able to subsidise costs for other non-profit groups, artists, crafters and small businesses.
Important note on Pop-Up Tents
Due to the size and scale of our event, any equipment such as pop-up tents must meet certain safety standards and can only be set up and taken down by our pre-approved and insured contractors. If you intend to use your own pop-up tent, you must be fully insured and be in a position to indemnify Dublin Pride on your policy and provide any necessary paperwork. The average cost to hire, set-up and take down a 3m x 3m pop up tent is €350 (+VAT), other items such as furniture or power add to that.
Before you consider applying for a pitch it is important to factor if you will need a tent. Creative ideas used by other groups in the past have included bicycles with trailors or wheelbarrows to store and display items. Bear in mind this is Ireland and some days it rains, but not always.
Non-Profit Organisations
We have a quota of fully subsidised spaces that include a pitch along with a 3 meter x 3 meter pop-up tent, table and chairs. Priority for these is given to organisations working with the LGBTQ+ community and those with lower incomes. For other non-profit organisations, or when the quota is reached, we work on a cost only basis. That is, there is no pitch fee and we only charge costs incurred by us such as supply and set up of tents, furniture etc.
General Traders (Small enterprises)
The pitch fee is €500 based on a total pitch area of 10 square meters.
Sustainable Traders
A reduced pitch fee of €250 applies to those selling sustainably produced and sourced products only.
Artists & Crafters
If you are displaying or selling your own art and crafts the pitch fee is €100
Supply of pop-up tents, furniture, power, etc is an additional charge. VAT at 23% is charged on top of all fees.
