    Elmhurst Energy has developed a Retrofit Lead Assessor (RLA) Course and Competency Scheme.  The Scheme gives Elmhurst-accredited Non-Domestic Level 4 Energy Assessors (NDEA’s), Operational Rating Assessors (DEC Assessors’s), and Level 4 Air Conditioning Inspection Report (ACIR) Assessors an opportunity to further their understanding of Non-Domestic Retrofit in line with the British Standard PAS2038, and allows the assessor to build on current skills and knowledge.

    The course and voluntary scheme have been set up to offer additional validity/credibility of reports produced by Elmhurst Assessors.

     

    Non-Domestic Retrofit Lead Professional (RLP)

    Elmhurst Energy has developed a Retrofit Lead Professional (RLP) Competency Scheme that gives industry experts an opportunity to further their understanding of Non-Domestic Retrofit in line with the British Standard PAS2038, and allows the Professional to build on current skills and knowledge.

    The course and voluntary scheme have been set up to offer additional validity/credibility of reports produced by Elmhurst Assessors.

    2.  An Elmhurst Non-Domestic Retrofit Lead Professional (RLP) Upskill qualification
    3.  A Degree in specific competencies such as, but not limited to, one of the following:
      - Quantity Surveying
      -  Chartered Building Surveying
      -  Architecture
      -  Construction Management
      -  Contruction Project Management
    4.  Your own Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
       

    * Please note, Route 2 applications may take a little longer to process as applications will be forwarded to the Non-Domestic Support Team in order to review your suitability to join the scheme

    We are pleased to confirm that insurance cover is included as part of your membership of this Elmhurst scheme.  Once you are accredited you will be given login details to our members' area, Access Elmhurst, where you will be able to view the Elmurst Members' insurance policy.

  • Non-Domestic Retrofit Lead Professional (RLP)

    In order to join this scheme you will need to supply a copy of your Professional Indemnity (PI) and Public Liablity (PL) insurance documents for our review and approval.

    The defined minimum level of cover is £250,000 PI & PL per property, or as required by client.

    Payment of invoices by direct debit is free, non direct debit payments are subject to a surcharge of 3% (minimum of £3.00).  We are now able to accept paperless direct debits.  If you would like to sign up to direct debit please email accounts@elmhurstenergy.co.uk stating your account number.  We will send you a link, which you will need to complete with your bank details.  You will then receive a confirmation email letting you know you have successfully set up your direct debit.

    If successful in my application I also agree to visit the Elmhurst Energy website on a regular basis (at least monthly) to ensure that I remain aware of any changes to the Terms, Standards or Codes that apply to the Elmhurst Energy Systems Accreditation Scheme. 

    If applying to be accredited as a Non-Domestic Retrofit Lead Professional, I confirm I will maintain valid Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.

    I confirm that I have discussed this application with the bill payer who has agreed to pay all charges relating to work I do on their behalf.  If this comes into dispute then I agree to pay the account myself.

    By submitting this form I acknowledge that Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd must satisfy themselves of the suitability of myself (the applicant) for registration, and complete checks as necessary, including insolvency and bankruptcy registers for key people within the business; I therefore agree that should my business have a 6-month or less trading history, Elmhurst reserve the right to carry out further checks as may be deemed necessary.
