The 2026 Elmo Trophy

Registration: Teams must consist of 6 members from the same club, school or dinghy association. At least 2 members must be aged 16 and under on 31st December 2026 and all team members be aged 19 or under on 31st December 2026 AND still attending second level education in 2026 (i.e. the event is not aimed at University students).

Teams must comply with the requirements as detailed in the NOR

Event Dinner: On Saturday evening there will be an event dinner for competitors in the RSGYC dining room.

Cost: €720 per team plus €500 damage deposit.

Entry fee includes 7 dinner tickets (6 sailors and 1 team representative) for Saturday night. Note that an assigned Team Representative must be present at the RSGYC for the duration of the dinner on Saturday evening and/ or while any team members are at the RSGYC.

The person in charge of the team must ensure that each sailor gets their parent to supply a signed copy of the digital PARENTAL CONSENT FORM

The Team Representative must sign the TEAM REPRESENTATIVE AGREEMENT

As per the NOR - Each team shall have an adult (aged over 18) person-in charge, who must be present on the Club premises for the entire duration of the event, this includes after sailing while any team members are on the RSGYC premises.

This person can not be a sailing member of the team.

This person will be encouraged to assist on the day, whether ashore or afloat.
Please indicate what previous experience you have assisting at events or any Irish Sailing Racing Officials Accreditation you may have. If you volunteer to drive a RIB, please bring your RIB licence.
