  Actors have 2 weeks post-auditions to complete this step.

Rehearsal Policies
As a participant, I also understand and agree to the following:
- Rehearsal Attendance
  - Actors are expected to be available for rehearsals. They should arrive on-time and prepared to rehearse.
    
    Rehearsal Schedule
    
    Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:00 until 8:30pm
    
    Saturdays from 10:00am until 5:00pm
    
    Sundays 1:00 to 5:00pm
    
    All actors will not be called to all rehearsals, but the time should be reserved.
    
    Availability may affect casting.
    
    Tech team / volunteers should be avaible during tech week and weekends throughout the rehearsal process, although scheduling is more flexible.
  - General Absense Info
    
    There are no excused absences during tech week or performances.
    
    Participants must inform the production team of all known conflicts at the time of auditions.
  - Excused Absences, Emergency, Illness, Sudden Conflicts
    
    Participants / their family should communicate directly with the production team about any illness or arising conflict immediately and prior to the start of the impacted rehearsal.
  - Unexcused Absences
    
    Any actor with more than three unexcused absences or late arrivals can be removed from a role or the entire production at the discretion of the production team.
- Behavior & Appearence
  - No significant changes to physical appearance after casting, such as hair cut or color, piercings, or tattoos without prior approval from the production team.
  - All participants will dress ready to move, with safe shoes and non-restrictive clothing, and will bring a water bottle!
  - Stagehands should dress in stage blacks during performances, limiting logos or reflective accessories.
  - No bullying or exclusionary behavior, as outlined in the JDHS Student Handbook.
  - "Don't Date your Drummer": Try to avoid entering romantic entanglements with other cast/crew while in the show's run.
  - Maintain the needed academic standing to participate in school activities.
    
    If needed, don't forget to turn in "pink slips"!
    
    Bringing homework to rehearsal is encouraged and supported! The production team can and will offer academic support.
  - Off-Book Date
    
    All actors are expected to have their lines memorized (or as close to memorized as possible) by the off-book date (typically 5 weeks after the first rehearsal)
  - Volunteer Hours
    
    Each participant is expected to complete at least 15 volunteer hours in the process of this show. There are many ways of completing these, including but not limited to...
    
    helping at the HW table
    
    sewing / costume aquisition
    
    set building / painting
    
    fundraiser staffing
    
    bake sale / craft fair items

This letter of advisory, waiver, and release concerns the auditioning, rehearsing of, performance of, and/or working on any pre-/post-production activity in connection with plays, musicals, classes, workshops, or theatrical events/productions on behave of JSD, JDHS, and Theater at Latitude 58 (the Drama Program). Such activity will hereafter be reffered to as THEATER ACTIVITY.

In consideration of the acceptance of my child's application for the Drama Program, I, First Name* Last Name* , hereby waive, release, and dischange any and all claims for damages for personal injury or property damages which may hereafter occur to my child as a result of their participation in said Drama Program.

In particular, my child and I acknlowedge that they may be involved in multiple activitites over a long period of time, and we agree that such warnings and releases contained herin are acknolwedged and granted in perpetuity. We have been adviceed that there is inherent risk in THEATER ACTIVITY, which concerns the ability to move about the rehearsal and performance space safely.
Because we understand that these risks exist, we realize that we must be ever vigilant to ensure our own saftey in my movement about the rehearsal and performance space. Such vigilance includes, but is not limited to, checking the work area before THEATER ACTIVITY and being aware of my changing surroundings as the play and/or musical progresses through rehearsals and performances.
