Thank you for registering to be a venue on the Tacoma Light Trail 2027!

Your participation is vital to this community event, and we are very excited to have you on board!

We are able to select approximately 25 venues to be paired with Light Artists thank you to Tacoma Creates funding. Light Artists are required to apply and if selected receive a small stipend to put their art into venues.

Venue selection is based on first come, first served and the location of each venue. If your venue is the only venue on your block to register we may be unable to select your venue to be paired with a Light Artist. Our goal is to create a walkable and rideable trail of light art.

Encourage your small business neighbors to register! 

If your venue is not selected to be paired with a Light Artist, there are 2 other options for still participating in the festival: 

1. Register as a venue that will create your own light art in your windows. Click Here to register

2. Register as a venue that will sponsor a Light Artist to place light art in your window/s. Select Option Below

Event Details:

• Event Dates: December 31, 2026 - January 17, 2027
• Light Trail Hours: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM nightly (light art on during these times)

• Assigned Guest Art Curator: Each venue will be paired with a Guest Art Curator to ensure a smooth experience with paired Light Artist from installation to event conclusion.
• Featured on TLT Website: Your venue's name and location will be prominently featured on our website and interactive map Dec/Jan,  .
• Weekly Volcano Advertisement: Your venue listed in a 4-page advertisement spread in the Weekly Volcano, reaching 800,000 readers.
• Promotion Opportunities: Additional promotion of your business through affordable sponsorship opportunities.
