Applicant Honesty, Authenticity and Document Verification Declaration
By submitting this application, I certify that all information, statements, qualifications, employment history, certifications, references, work samples, and supporting documents I provide to TechTots STEM Discovery Centre are complete, accurate, authentic, and not misleading.
I understand and agree that:
- I must not falsify, alter, fabricate, copy, purchase, misrepresent, or knowingly omit material information from any document or statement submitted during the recruitment process.
- Any program plans, anecdotal observations, learning stories, pedagogical documentation, portfolios, or other professional samples presented as my work must have been created or substantially developed by me. Where work was completed collaboratively, I must clearly identify my role and contribution.
- I must not claim certifications, education, employment experience, training, professional designations, responsibilities, or competencies that I have not legitimately obtained or completed.
- Any document containing information about children, families, employers, colleagues, or third parties must be appropriately anonymized. Names, photographs, birthdates, contact information, medical information, identification numbers, and other confidential details must be removed unless I have lawful written authorization to disclose them.
- TechTots STEM Discovery Centre may verify information reasonably related to my suitability for employment, including my Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification, educational credentials, training certificates, employment history, references, and the authenticity or authorship of submitted documents. Information will be collected, used, retained, and disclosed only for reasonable recruitment and employment-related purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
- I must promptly notify TechTots STEM Discovery Centre if I discover that any information I submitted is inaccurate or incomplete. An honest error that is voluntarily and promptly corrected will be assessed differently from intentional dishonesty, concealment, misrepresentation, or forgery.
- I understand that this declaration continues to apply throughout the application, interview, onboarding, and employment process.
