ASCEND 2026 | Seattle SHRM Mentorship Program

Thank you for your interest in being a mentor for ASCEND 2026!

This program is designed for experienced HR professionals who are eager to guide and support mentees looking to enhance their HR knowledge and skills, or advance early in their HR career, or looking to break into the HR profession.
As a mentor, you’ll participate in a three-month program, which includes:

🔹 A kickoff event to set expectations and build connections
🔹 2-3 hours per month of mentorship sessions with your mentee
🔹 Closing Ceremony

The program will run from September to December 2026.

Note: Most of our mentors have 5+ years of HR experience, but we welcome applications from anyone who believes they can provide valuable mentorship, regardless of years of experience!

ASCEND Fall 2026 Participant Commitment

By applying to ASCEND, I understand that the program runs from September through December 2026 and that active participation is essential to a successful mentoring relationship.
I can participate for the full three month program. Time commitment will be 2-3 hours per month
I can meet with my mentee approximately twice per month.
I will communicate promptly with my mentee and make a reasonable effort to reschedule missed meetings.
I will actively participate in goal setting and program activities.
I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee placement in the program.
I understand that Seattle SHRM will use information from this application to help determine an appropriate match.
