2027 LCM Meet Bid Application

Directions: Submit one Meet Bid Application for EACH of your team's meet bids for the upcoming 2027 Long Course Meters (LCM) season.

Meet Applications for the 2027 Long Course Season are due by November 1, 2026.

NOTE: At the bottom of the application is this year's meet bid process.

After you submit an application, a link will be provided that allows you to double-check the meet information on the meet bid spreadsheet. If there is an error or information is missing, please contact the Tech Planning Chair (techplanning@gaswim.org). This form can also be used to see other meets that have been bid.

Below are details for protected meet weekends (bids to host State meets must be submitted through the 2027 LCM Championship Meet Bid Application which will get sent to their respective chairs):

Meet Bid Process:

Each meet host must fill out one Meet Bid Application for each of the meet bids to be placed on the 2027 LCM calendar to be presented to the Board of Directors (BOD) for approval in November.

The Meet Bid Application must be submitted by 11:59PM on Sunday, November 1, 2026 to be considered on the calendar. All meets -- intrasquad, dual, limited or open -- must be on the calendar to be eligible for sanctioning. If you have emailed meet bid information to the Technical Planning Committee Chair, please fill out a form for each of your meets as well.

The Technical Planning Committee will hold its LCM Calendar Meeting on November 5, 2026 at 8:30PM to finalize and approve the 2027 LCM Calendar for the October BOD meeting. This will "lock" the calendar for the HOD.

Only meets for which the Meet Bid Application has been submitted on time will be considered for placement on the calendar. Meets will NOT be considered from participating teams at the Tech Planning Calendar Meeting or at the BOD meeting.
