• Paraorchestra Musician Callout Application Form

  • Paraorchestra are looking for disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent professional-level musicians based in the UK to join our ensemble.

    In order to apply, you must:

    • Be 18 years old or over - there is no upper age limit
    • Identify as disabled, Deaf, or neurodivergent
    • Perform music to a professional level
    • Be a resident in the UK

    Please ensure you have read and understood our Musician Callout Information Pack before completing this form.

    We take an individual approach to access and use the Social Model of Disability to guide our approach.

    • Playing Examples 

    • We ask all applicants to provide links to examples of their playing.

      These links should be of two contrasting pieces either unaccompanied or accompanied as best suits you.

      Please do not send videos of you performing with a band, ensemble or in an orchestral setting as these are difficult for the panel to review. The exception to this is if you are applying as a drummer in which case you can provide links which demonstrate you playing in a group environment.

      The links do not need to be professionally recorded; something filmed on a phone is absolutely fine.
