    What is Day Camp?

    • A condensed camp experience lasting two or more consecutive days with at least three hours of programming each day.
    • Girls attending must be entering Kindergarten or older and must be registered members of Girl Scouts.
    • Occasionally, a Day Camp may offer an overnight experience for Brownies and older. 

    The information on this form will be used to allow the staff at the Girl Scout Council office to better serve Day Camp Directors.  

    This form is for Troop, Service Unit and Volunteer-run camps. GSMW will use the information you provide for emergency purposes.

    Healthcare Provider/First Aider - Must have, at minimum, a current First Aid and CPR Certification

    Outdoor Trained Adult Volunteer - Will oversee campfires and/or outdoor cookout activities; Must have cleared Criminal Background Check.

    The role of the Day Camp Director is to oversee development and implementation of a volunteer-run day camp program that is consistent with the Girl Scout Mission, Program Goals, Promise, Law, and all Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming and Girl Scouts of the USA policies and health and safety standards.

  • Pre-Camp Information Agreement

    As the Day Camp Director, you are expected to ensure pre-camp information is submitted to GSMW in a timely manner.

    • Troop/Group Sponsorship Form (if seeking financial and in-kind sponsorship).  Once GSMW approves your sponsorship request, share the Day Camp Sponsorship Agreement with your sponsor.
    • Additional Insurance Request Form (submitted no later than two weeks before camp, if applicable, to cover Tag-a-Longs and other camp visitors who are not eligible for membership)
