What is Sports Carnival 2018?
The Sports Carnival is a community event to provide sports and recreational activities for youth and families of the Pottstown and surrounding areas. In addition to sports and recreation activities, there is also sports clinics, awards and prizes, food, music, and a basketball tournament taking place throughout the day. The cost is free.

What is the Event Setup?
What are the Goals of the Sports Carnival?
The 2018 Sports Carnival event is produced to do achieve the following goals:
● Provide healthy competition and family fun through sports, recreation, and other physical activity for youth and families of the Pottstown and surrounding communities.
● Lead the effort to bring the return of the Pottstown July 4th fireworks festivities which historically drew 12,000+ youth and families to Pottstown, PA.
● Promote community unity by bringing together various area sectors and forging relationships among area residents.
● Award and prizes to youth and families who are most active throughout the day’s events.
● Connect youth and families to vital area services, youth development clubs as well as other organizations.
When and Where is the Sports Carnival?
The Sports Carnival will take place on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Most activities take place from 2pm until 5pm, but including all basketball tournaments and award ceremonies, the event time spans 12pm-6pm. Sports Carnival 2018 is one of a host of events taking place during the 2018 Go Fourth Festival of the Arts.

- Let the Games begin! - Children participate in various sports and recreation activities hosted by areas most recognized youth development organizations from 2-5pm.
- All Activity Registration begins - participants must be registered and receive event passport to participate! Registration will be ongoing throughout the event
- Basketball Clinic hosted by Just Hoop (first 50 children that register)

What is the cost to enter the Carnival?
Pre-Register for Sports Clinics
In addition to the fun activities taking place all day, there are 3 Sports Clinics. The preferred ages are boys and girls ages 8-13. Due to the limited space, we limit the clinics to a maximum 50 participants. A free Sports Carnival T-shirt will be given to all sports clinic participants. Pre-register the day of the event at 1:30pm. Registration is on a first come first served basis. One sports clinic per attendee.
