Seen Through Horses 2025 Campaign Charity Partner Application
Please fill out the application below by February 11th, 2025 if you are a program or organization incorporating horses for mental health or personal growth/well-being, and you would like to apply to be a participant and beneficiary of the Seen Through Horses Campaign May 2025.

Once we receive your application, you will be notified of the approval decision and next steps by February 18th. Please note that, due to the limited number of programs and organizations we can accept, not all applicants may be approved.

Pre-Application Introduction Call

We will hold an optional Pre-Application Introduction call for all interested organizations and programs on January 14th and February 4th at 10:00 AM Mountain Time (MT) where we will discuss the campaign overview and hold a Q&A. This is a great opportunity to see if your organization would be a good fit for the campaign.

Your Organization's Commitments

The Seen Through Horses Campaign equips your organization with essential tools like education, a fundraising platform, a social media calendar, content, and brand growth and marketing strategies to help you succeed in a peer-to-peer awareness and fundraising campaign.

By joining together under one unified message, we amplify our reach and impact.

For this campaign to grow each year and succeed for both Charity Partners and the industry, active participation from each organization is essential. Your involvement not only supports your own work but also raises awareness about the powerful role horses play in mental health and personal growth.

Even if you don’t join as a formal Charity Partner, we hope the campaign benefits all programs by amplifying awareness and providing valuable resources like videos and stories to showcase the power of your services.

Pre-requisites

1. For your application as a Charity Partner of the Seen Through Horses Campaign to be considered or approved, you will need to be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in the U.S., or a registered charity in Canada, or if you are a for-profit, you need to have a fiscal sponsor.
1. Only fill out this application if you are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in the U.S., a registered charity in Canada, or you have a nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
2. If you are a for-profit program and would like HMH to be your fiscal sponsor, please apply here.
  1. If you wish to do this, do not fill out this application until that fiscal sponsorship is approved with an agreement in place.
2. Your programs providing mental health or personal growth services incorporating horses need to be currently operating and serving clients.

3. Your website needs to clearly reflect that you provide mental health and/or personal growth services incorporating horses (psychotherapy, counseling, or EAL specific programming), and that your facilitators have proper qualifications to be providing those services.
1. Facilitators have professional qualifications with equine, mental health, organizational development, coaching, education or other professions that reflect the specific scope of mental health or personal growth (EAL) services you provide.
2. Facilitators are trained and certified by professional organizations in the equine-assisted services realm.
3. Your website clearly reflects your services utilizing optimal terminology - click here to read more on terminology and messaging your services.
Only fill out this application if your organization commits to the following (all boxes must be checked for application to be considered):*

1. A delegated Team Lead who commits to a minimum of 5 hours/week from March - April, and 8 hours/week during May to support the Campaign activations.2. Form a volunteer team of fundraising ambassadors (minimum of 5) by campaign launch on May 1st, who are passionate and committed to spreading awareness and raising funds for your organization during the campaign (May 1-31).3. With the support of your Fundraising Ambassadors, commit to a minimum goal of raising $2,500 for your organization.4. Complete your organization's fundraising page and Fundraising Ambassadors' individual fundraising pages on the campaign platform by May 1st.5. Your organization implements at least 8 promotional campaign assets from April - May such as social media posts, animated videos, stories of transformation, newsletters, press releases (the STH Campaign provides these assets for you to share).6. Your organization's Team Lead attends at least 5 of the 7 campaign training and education calls.7. Pay a non-refundable $200 commitment fee + $50 new Charity Partner initiation fee ($250) and submit your organization's W-9 by March 4th, 2025.8. Your organization completes a post-campaign feedback survey by the end of June to provide essential data on the impact of your participation. This information helps track the effectiveness of the campaign, demonstrates the reach and outcomes, and provides insights that improve future campaigns.
