Disclaimer:
We are not a veterinary wholesaler and encourage veterinary clinics to source products in bulk from their local veterinary wholesalers whenever possible. Our service is intended to support smaller veterinary clinics that infrequently administer chemotherapy by providing affordable access to small quantities of essential oncology supplies. This ensures clinics can safely and effectively administer chemotherapy without running low on critical products during times of need.
Equashield IV and SQ Comsumable Packs:
Vial Adaptors:
Most veterinary chemotherapy drugs use 20 mm vial adaptors, except for vincristine 1 mg/1 mL vials and actinomycin-D 1 mg/1 mL vials, which require 13 mm vial adaptors. Please check your chemotherapy vial size and choose the appropriate vial adaptor size. If you are unsure, contact The Pet Oncologist.
Luer Lock Syringes:
If you are administering doxorubicin to a dog that weighs more than 30 kg, you may need a 30 mL syringe. A 50 mL syringe is only required for very large dogs weighing over 60 kg.
IV Catheters:
When starting chemotherapy, it is recommended to use 22g blue IV catheters. The 24g yellow catheters are shorter and are recommended for experienced chemotherapy administrators only, or for use in very small dogs and cats.
