  • 2026 Parade Entry Deadlines

    • Early-bird parade entry deadline is Wednesday, July 15 at 11:45pm.
    • After July 15, all parade applications are charged a $25 late fee, including marching bands.
    • Final parade entry deadline is Friday, July 31 at 11:45pm. 
    • Your parade entry fee is due 10 days from the date of your entry. If the parade entry fee is not received, the entry will be voided and cannot participate in the parade.
    • Entries are reviewed and accepted until the parade is full or the final entry deadline has passed.

    Attention Marching Bands

    Due to the WWW Grand Parade’s growth in popularity as well as parade timing and staging limitations, the number of marching bands that can be accommodated in the parade is limited to 12 entries. Entry priority will be given to bands based on the following 

    • Prior participation
    • Space availability
    • Date the entry is received
    • After 12 entries have been accepted, a wait-list will be established

    • PARADE CATEGORIES TABLE

      All entries are required to include a Certificate of Insurance naming Western Welcome Week, Inc. as an additional insured.

      1 – FLOATS Judging – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each category
        No walkers. If your entry includes other participants such as walkers, vehicles, etc., those units must complete a separate Parade Entry Form. Entry Fee
      1A School Groups, Nonprofits
      – Schools (cheer, dance, poms, sports, etc.), scouts troops, religious groups, nonprofits, etc. NO ADVERTISING. $50
      1B Business, Commercial – Advertising allowed $100
      1C Government – City, county, state, police, sheriff, armed forces, etc. $100
             
      2 – WALKING ENTRIES
      Judging – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each category
        No political entries. Max 20 participants per entry. Entries with more than 20 walkers are required to submit a separate Parade Entry Form for each group. Schools must complete a separate entry for EACH SCHOOL.

      6 – POLITICAL Not judged
        Only one entry per seated official, candidate, political party, or campaign. ALL political participants must ride in a vehicle, on a float, or in a horse-drawn wagon or carriage. Walking is not permitted with ANY political entry. If you leave your entry and walk during the parade, you will be asked by Parade Marshals to return to your entry or leave the parade. Entry Fee
      6A Seated Official or Candidate Equestrian—individual or horse-drawn; max 4 participants per entry $150
      6B Seated Official or Candidate Vehicle or float—individual; max 4 participants per entry $200
      6C Political Party or Campaign Equestrian—horse-drawn; max 15 participants per entry. Only one entry per designated political party or campaign can be in the parade $200
      6D Political Party or Campaign Vehicle or float—individual; max 15 participants per entry. Only one entry per designated political party or campaign can be in the parade $300
             
      7 – MUSICAL ENTRIES
      Judging – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each category
        You must be carrying a musical instrument, flag or banner to be in this category. NO cheer squads, dance teams, pom squads, sports teams, etc. Entry Fee
      7A Marching Band NO school teams (cheer, dance, poms, sports, etc.). Judging in this category: best drum major, best percussion, best auxiliary

      Your parade entry fee is determined by the Parade Category. Western Welcome Week (WWW) reviews all parade entries for accuracy and correct category placement. If your selected Parade Category is incorrect, WWW will contact you to correct your selection, and your Entry Fee may change. When your entry is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.

    • ATTENTION SCHOOL GROUPS

      Category 7A is for marching bands with color guard only.

      • Parade entry applications for schools, sports teams, cheer, dance, pom squads, etc. cannot be combined with marching bands/color guard, and must complete a separate entry form using Category 2A. If the correct Parade Category is not selected, Western Welcome Week will contact you to correct your category selection and your entry fee will change.
      • Sports teams, poms, cheer, marching band, color guard, etc. from the same school will be placed together in the parade lineup.
    • 3. Parade Entry Information

      Tell us about your entry!
    • All fields must be completed with accurate information. Do not use "TBD," "pending," or other temporary information about your entry. An incomplete entry application will be returned.

    • LIVE OR AMPLIFIED SOUND FEE

      A $10 fee is charged for all entries that include live or pre-recorded amplified sound, excluding Musical Entries, Category 7.

      All amplified sound must be directed to the sides of the entry; no forward- or rear-facing amplification. Amplified sound shall not interfere with or be a nuisance to other parade entries.


    • LIVE ANIMALS

      Entries that include any live animals (horses, ponies, mules, dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, etc.) are required to include a Certificate of Insurance naming Western Welcome Week, Inc. as an additional insured.

      All animals must be under control at all times. All dogs must be on a leash at all times (Littleton City Code 6-2-4). The 1.5-mile parade route is asphalt and can get very hot for pet's paws in the summertime. Be sure to have an alternate plan for your pet if the street gets too hot, and bring extra water for all your animals. 

      Water is available for horse troughs at the ACC equestrian staging area. Water is not available at the Gallup Street staging area.

    • DESCRIPTION OF ENTRY

      In the Detailed Description field below, describe the physical details of your entry. Include approximate length and height of entry, vehicle type(s) if applicable, number of participants, musical elements, animals., etc.

      This description must include any maneuvers that will be performed by your participants.

      Entries SHALL NOT STOP THEIR FORWARD MOVEMENT at any time during the parade, and maneuvers SHALL NOT SLOW or IMPEDE the forward movement of the parade.

      Amplified sound SHALL NOT INTERFERE with or be a nuisance to other parade entries. Maximum height of entry: 12 feet.

      Changes to this information after submission may incur an additional fee. Max 200 words.

      This shoud not be the same as the Detailed Decription of Entry above

      In the Announcer's Script field below, write a 15-20 second announcement for your entry which will be read by the parade emcee for the audience and judges. Make it unique and interesting! Include facts about your group that the parade audience may not know! Do not include phone numbers or email addresses which is hard for the audience to remember.

      Changes to this information after submission may incur an additional fee. Max 60 words.

      All parade entries are required to include a Certificate of Insurance with a minimum $1 million in liability coverage naming WESTERN WELCOME WEEK, INC. as an additional insured and include the address: 5890 S. Bemis Street., Littleton, CO 80120. Policy effective date must be within one year prior to parade date.

      By typing their name in the "Authorized Signature" field below, the Parade Entry Coordinator acknowledges that they have the authority to knowingly and voluntarily agree to all of the following Terms and Conditions for their organization:

      RELEASE
      Indemnify and hold harmless WESTERN WELCOME WEEK, INC. (WWW) from any and all liability, claims, damages, and losses arising from their organization's participation in Western Welcome Week activities.

      NO ITEMS WILL BE THROWN OR DISTRIBUTED FROM ANY PARADE ENTRY!
      Western Welcome Week's insurance policy STRICTLY FORBIDS all parade participants from throwing, tossing, handing out, or distributing ANY items whatsoever from their parade entry. This is a NON-NEGOTIABLE safety requirement. Any entry found in breach of this policy will be REMOVED FROM THE PARADE IMMEDIATELY, regardless of where the entry is on the parade route, or how far the parade has progressed. No exceptions. Organizations that violate this rule will NOT BE ALLOWED to participate in future Western Welcome Week parades. Compliance is mandatory and there are no exceptions.

      CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
      ALL parade entries must submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with a minimum $1 million in liability coverage naming WESTERN WELCOME WEEK, INC. as an additional insured and include the address: 5890 S. Bemis Street., Littleton, CO 80120. Policy effective date must be within one year prior to parade date.

      INCLEMENT WEATHER
      WESTERN WELCOME WEEK, INC. schedules specific dates for events. Events are not canceled due to inclement weather unless weather creates a safety issue. WWW reserves the right to postpone or terminate an event due to weather, and no refunds will be made.

      RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
      WESTERN WELCOME WEEK, INC., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, reserves the right to refuse participation to any group, groups, individuals, an individual, association, business, or any other entity of any nature or type that WWW feels in its sole discretion would not further the goals of the organization, would not be appropriate considering circumstances, or might reflect negatively upon WWW, or an individual or group.

    • 6. Parade Entry Fees

      Your entry fee is determined by the Parade Category you selected above.

      Western Welcome Week (WWW) reviews all parade entries for accuracy and correct category placement. If your selected Parade Category is incorrect, WWW will contact you to correct your selection, and your Entry Fee may change. When your entry is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.

      A $25 late fee will be added to each entry fee after July 15.

      PAYMENT METHODS

      • Debit/Credit Card (via PayPal) — Your card will not be charged until your entry has been reviewed and approved by Western Welcome Week, Inc.
      • A processing fee is added to all credit/debit card payments.
         
      • Check — An invoice will be emailed to you after the entry has been reviewed and approved. To pay with a debit/credit card after the entry has been submitted, call the WWW office at 303-794-4870.
    • PAY BY CHECK

      Your parade entry fee is due 10 days from the date of your entry. If your entry is less than 10 days from the parade date, your entry fee is due no later than Monday, August 3, 2026. If your parade entry fee is not received, your entry will be voided and cannot participate in the parade.
