  • 2023 Outdoor Events - Umpire Manager & Umpire Coach Expression of Interest Form

  • This form is to be used for any officials that wish to express interest in filling the role of Umpire Manager, Assistant Umpire Manager or Umpire Coach at any of the 2023 Hockey Victoria Outdoor Events. 

    Following the deadline, all expressions of interest will be considered by Hockey Victoria in conjunction with the Hockey Victroria Officiating Committee (HVOC) prior to appointments being made. 

    Expressions of interest will close at 5.00pm on Monday 27th February and Hockey Victoria will endeavour to inform all successful candidates of their appointments within three weeks.

  • Grassports Junior Country Championships & Senior Country Championships

  • There will be a minimum of 1 x Umpire Manager and 1 x Assistant Umpire Manager located at each venue for the JCC & SCC and they will be required to be avaialble for the duration of the Event. 

    The following gratuity payments will be made at the conclusion of the Events:

    • SCC Umpire Managers - $450 each
    • SCC Assistant Umpire Manager - $300 each
    • JCC Umpire Manager - $350 each
    • JCC Assistant Umpire Manager - $250 each

  • Grassports Junior State Championships

  • In 2023 the Grassports Junior State Championships will have a slight change of age groups, to Under 12 (Hockey 5s), Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18. 

    The Event will run as follows:

    • Under 14 & Under 16 - 29th June to 2nd July at MSC Parkville & Footscray
    • Under 12 (Hockey 5s) - 1st & 2nd July at either Footscray or MSC Parkville
    • Under 18s - EITHER Friday 22nd September to Sunday 24th September OR Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th September at MSC Parkville


    Umpire Managers and Assistant Umpire Managers will need to be available for the full 4 days of the Event. It should be noted that there are NO HV competitions on the same weekend as the JSC in 2023.


    The following gratuity payemnts will be made at the conclusion of the Event:

    • JSC Umpire Managers - $650
    • JSC Assistant Umpire Managers - $550
