  • Please see all the prerequisites for joining this club. This includes both the Basic Archery Association Membership Requirements For ALL Members as well as the prerequisities for specifically either the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) division and/or the Adult Archery Program (AAP) division.

    • "Active" Honorary Membership Types —> Competitively Inspired Archers (“the CIA Expanded”)
    • This package discount is ONLY approved on a per basis review & assessment by Coach Lani (who pays the $15/lesson difference personally to offset costs and as a personal "sponsorship" to higher interested/commited students) under the specially known Competitively Inspired Archers (the CIA Expanded), owned personally by Coach Lani.

      • The first calendar year is under a probationary situation to see if the student is committed to the goals outlined.
      • An annual student re-assessment review is required to see if the minimum goals & commitments were achieved during the calendar year to qualify to continue this membership type.  Inability to meet minimum commitments will result in possible removal from qualifying for this specialty membership type the next calendar year.

This specialty package is NOT for intended single lessons at discounted rates or for students who do not want to compete.

      • Honorary Membership level requires above normal level competition and training commitments to maintain the specialty rate and honorary membership type due to the student being outside of the normal group and to ensure commitment to improvement in the sport.
      • If you are unable to commit to the required upper level training & participation requirements (tournaments, pin shoots, self practice, private lessons), please note you may be requested to either move to a comparable CIA group level (pending space) or reconsider membership in this competitive only club
      • If you only want to do private lessons without any requirements for competition involvement, please consider regular private lessons with a South Bay Archery Lessons Coach/Instructor at the normal non-competing range rate of $90/lesson without any requirements for competition involvement.
