  •  SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER...

    • Hours of pickup/payment: Weekdays: 8:00 a.m - Noon & 12:30 p.m - 4:00 p.m.
    • Printing Services is closed daily from Noon - 12:30 p.m.
    • Printing Services, like the campus, is not open weekends/holidays/campus closures
    • Materials to produce your project may have a delay due to size of project or availability. We will make every effort to acquire the supplies needed for any project. We will discuss with you if this arises. 
    • Some projects can be done within a business day or two. Others may require extended production time. Same day or 24 hour turn will depend on our production levels, materials selection, and time of submission. Not all projects may be able to be done by your requested due date. We will discuss with you if this arises. SUBMISSIONS MADE OVERNIGHT, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, AND CAMPUS CLOSURES ARE NOT CONSIDERED FOR PRODUCTION UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, AND PRODUCTION TIME IS EVALUATED THEN. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

  • NOTICE: The fund number you have entered is an OSI (Office of Student Involvement) fund that requires an estimate and approval to move forward. An estimate will be completed and emailed in this order thread to the OSI office for approval. Once your order has been approved, we will move forward.  If you have any questions about your account, please email osifinance@oakland.edu.

    PRINTING SERVICES IS NOT CAPABLE OF MAKING CHANGE AND IS UNABLE TO KEEP LEFTOVER CHANGE FROM BIGGER BILLS.

    Orders not paid with an OU Fund Number are personal orders and must be paid C.O.D. at time of pick-up. Cash (exact amount) or check (made payable to Oakland University) only. Delivery is not available for personal orders; pick-up only. Printing Services makes every effort to provide timely service. The campus takes priority on all production needs. We do our best to provide personal order customers equal timely service, as long as it does not interfere with campus business. We will communicate with you our ability to meet your requested deadline and expect your understanding and cooperation so all can enjoy our services. Tax exempt orgainizations need to provide tax exempt documentation along with order.

    Questions about what paper to use? Please call us at (248) 370-2282. NOTE: Stock finish is the type of surface on the manufactured stock, not a finished applied. Envelopes are all Uncoated. All digital color printing will have a glossy sheen to it regardless of stock selection. Some papers do cost more than others. Some restrictions due apply. Ask before ordering if you are unsure of what to select. Please make use of the Details/Special Instructions and or Stock Notes box for instructions, requests, etc.

    Paper makers are making changes to offerings on a monthly basis. The paper color you may have used in the past, may no longer be available, or in the same weight. We will contact you if you have not referenced this swatch and ask for another choice.

    All envelopes are Uncoated. Colors we stock are White or Natural.
  • Please do not fill this portion out if you do not need any envelopes.

  • WE ONLY CARRY WHITE OR NATURAL COLORED ENVELOPES - PLEASE SEE SELECTIONS FOR WHICH COLORS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR DESIRED ENVELOPE . YOU MAY SUPPLY YOUR OWN ENVELOPE, BUT PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO PURCHASE TO ENSURE WE CAN PRINT ON THEM. 

  • Bindery/Additional Services

  • Folding Tidbit: Items smaller than 8.5 x 5.5 cannot be folded. Your print piece will get a crease line for your hand folding at your convenience. 

  • Lamination Tidbit: Lamination is an encapsulation of plastic, not a coating, for items that remain flat. Lamination will protect and stiffen a print. Rigid Pouch is the most popular and is the most durable. Sealed Edge is only recommended if water submersion is expected, otherwise Flush Edge is more than durable for most applications. Flex Roll is soft and less durable and is generally used for newsprint, thin posters, or products that need to be rolled up.
