    "I can't continue my course right now. I want to know my options."

    If you are experiencing any difficulties that is making you unable to attend your classes, you can try applying for a Leave of Absence. 

    Leave of Absences can be taken when you need a few weeks of approved absences. Note that this will not excuse you from assessment submissions and tuition fee payments.

    However, if you believe that you will require at least half a term to handle your personal matters, it may be better to apply for a Deferral. A Deferral is a pause in your studies due to compassionate or compelling reasons.

    At the end of the day, whichever you choose, you will need to provide valid documentation to support your request. You can apply for either a Leave of Absence or a Deferral here.

    "I don't think I can finish my course. I want to know my options."

    If you believe that you just need extensions for your assessments, kindly choose the "I need more time to submit my assessments" option instead.

    If you believe that you do not have enough time to finish your course within your intended duration or as dictated by your COE, you can apply to extend your course duration. However, be advised that this option may cause you to extend your Student VISA. Click Next if you like this option.

    "I have some issues I need to discuss about my classes."

    If you feel that your campus is too far from your place, you can apply for a Campus or Class Change here. But be advised that NOT all requests can be approved as some classes may already be full or have different academic calendars.

    If you missed a class and need academic assistance, kindly communicate with your trainer directly. You can check your timetable for your trainer's email address or you can send email here to inquire about it.

    If there are some factors in your class that prohibit you from focusing on your lessons or submitting your assessments properly, click Next.

    If you missed an assessment deadline, kindly refer below for the Assessment Submission & Academic Progress Monitoring Flowchart as to what the next step is.

    If the Flowchart dictates that you require an Intervention Strategy, please click Next. Otherwise, you can apply for a Resubmission Request here.

    Keep in mind that penalty fees may apply.

    "I need to change my course."

    If you want to change your future course, or add another course after your current one, kindly send an email to admissions@asia.edu.au. However, if you want to change your current course, click Next.

    "I need to talk about my attendance."

    If you are interested to know your current attendance, you can discuss with your trainer.

    If you need an Official Attendance Letter, you will need to request here.

    If you have received a warning regarding your attendance, click Next below.

    "I want to collect my certificate."

    Completion certificates, along with your Official Academic Transcript, are only processed if you have met all the criteria for completion. The criteria are as follows:

    • All your course units received a Competent mark
    • Your logbook, if applicable, has been submitted and marked as Competent 
    • Tuition, Material, and other Miscellaneous fees have been settled. Note that penalty fees for late submissions or payments are also included here.
    • Your course officially ended as per your eCOE

    If you are confident that you have met all the criteria above, ensure that you have filled out the Course Completion form here and wait for an email saying your certificate is ready for collection.

    Certificate Collections are set only on Fridays at the Main Campus.

    "I want to submit my assessments."

    Please note that all assessment submissions are only done through Moodle. The Student Services team does NOT accept assessment submissions, including logbooks.

    If your issue is that you have missed a deadline, you can apply for a Resubmission Request here. However, if you missed more than half of your term requirements, you need to undergo an Intervention Strategy. Kindly go back to the previous page and choose "I was asked to come for Academic Counselling".

    "My trainer has not marked my assessments."

    Be advised that the Student Services team does NOT mark student submissions. As such, you need to communicate with your trainer regarding this. You can either send them an email or a message through the Official WhatsApp Group.

    "I want to withdraw."

    Please let us know the reason why you want to discontinue your course. 

    If it's because of financial reasons, you can apply for a payment plan here. Alternatively, you can come in and discuss with our Payments Officer at the Main Campus.

    If you are having issues completing the course and would like to put a hold on your course, you can apply for a leave or a deferral. In case you are unsure which to take, you can come in and discuss with our Student Welfare Officer at the Main Campus.

    If you are having issues with your academics, you can talk to your Academic Counsellor at the Main Campus. Kindly choose "I was asked to come for Academic Counselling" instead.

    If you have decided to pursue your studies elsewhere, you can talk to our Student Experience Officer at the Main Campus.
