What are some of your child's key interests and strengths, both in and out of school?

• This could include hobbies, sports, clubs, or anything they are passionate about. We would love to know what motivates them.
• Please specify if your child is having any music tuition outside of school, and to what standard (e.g. Piano/Beginner or Flute/Grade 5/May 2025).

How would you describe your child's personality and their general approach to learning?

• For example, are they introverted or extroverted? Do they prefer to work independently or collaboratively? What is their typical reaction to new challenges? How is home learning approached?

Are there any specific family circumstances or important information you would like to share that might help us understand and support your child this year? Are there any medical needs that you would like us to be aware of?

• This is an open invitation to share anything relevant you feel comfortable sharing.

What is your child's typical approach to friendships and working with peers? Are there any specific students you have found to be particularly positive learning partners for your child in the past?

• Understanding their social dynamics can help us facilitate a positive classroom environment and help us when considering groupings and seating.

What skills, hobbies, or interests do you have that you would be excited to share with our children? Perhaps you are a keen gardener, an expert coder, a talented artist, or have a career you would be open to talk about.

• Your talents and interests could enrich our children's learning experiences and open their eyes to new possibilities.

Finally, are there any areas where your child might need extra support, either academically, socially, or emotionally? Is there anything else you would like to share that would help us make this a successful year for your child?

Parent Teacher Conferences (PTCs) are available should you wish to meet your child’s new teacher, however these are not compulsory if you have feel you have shared ample information above. Should you wish to make a PTC later on in the term, please contact your child’s class teacher directly.

To ensure our teachers have ample time to thoroughly review and understand your child's information, please submit this form before Monday, August 18th.
