I’ve had many participants in my workshops, and their cooking levels are too different. To prepare properly, please tick all boxes that apply to you.

Ik heb veel deelnemers gehad in mijn workshops, en hun kookniveau verschilt sterk. Om me goed voor te bereiden, vink alle vakjes aan die op jou van toepassing zijn.

NO fashionable clothes. NO long nails.
Especially Gyoza workshop, Impossible to wrap the filling with long nails. 

GEEN modieuze kleding. GEEN lange nagels.
Vooral voor Gyoza-workshops is het onmogelijk om de vulling in te pakken met lange nagels.

Attend in casual outfit for cooking. 
- Bring and wear an apron if you don't want to get your clothes dirty.
- If you have long hair, tie it back.
- Keep your nails short and neatly trimmed.

Kom in een casual outfit voor het koken.
- Breng en draag een schort als je je kleren niet vies wilt maken.
- Heb je lang haar? Bind het dan samen.
- Houd je nagels kort en netjes geknipt.

If you'd like to enjoy the food without joining a workshop, or if you're looking for a unique dining experience at a reasonable price, you can book our huiskamerrestaurant (private home restaurant). The location is a private apartment in Utrecht. However, we place greater value on authentic content than on stereotypical Japanese appearances.

Note: Due to the small kitchen, it is not possible to prepare multiple different menus or courses at the same time. Therefore, we kindly ask that each group orders the same menu.

A. Shojin ryori full course (vegan)
Consists of 1 soup, 1 bowl of rice, and 10 dishes. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 2 persons. Max 6 people.

B. Makunouchi bento (Delux bento. Vegan): 28 euro
Consists of 1 delux bento, Japanese tea and 1 soup. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 4 persons. Max 10 people.

C. Onigiri set meal: 16 euro
Consists of onigiri, side dishes, Japanese tea and 1 soup. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 6 persons. Max 10 people.

D. Dishes upon request: negotiable. Non-vegan possible.

NOTE: Japanese Konbucha is totally different from Western Kombucha. At my place , I serve Original Japanese Konbucha from Japan. For more details, check wikipedia about Japanese Konbucha and Western Kombucha.

EN: Manga drawing is not a kid's play; it's Art. With a required concentration span of one hour, the minimum age for participation is 10 years old.

Due to preparation both manga workshop and meals, one type of dish is possible. For groups of five or more, only Japanese curry, onigiri, drinks and desserts are available.

D. Japanese activities on your location

Would you like to organize authentic Japanese workshops on your location? For school, shop, events, company party, team-building, demonstration, family day, festival etc.
(The price for workshop on location is in unit price of 10 people. because in a large group or events, it is difficult to predict the exact number of participants beforehand, and often some people absent in last minutes.)

Basic conditions

EN:
- The workshop at your location is available from 10 participants.
- The minimum booking hours are a total of 2 hours.
- The numbers of participants are based on Unit price (10 each).
- Travel expenses (from Utrecht) and travel time fees (if more than 1-hour travel) are required separately.
- cooking workshops require preparation times for ingredients.
- If you want a workshop at your location for under 10 people, the price will be the same as the price of 10 people.
- Changes in the number of participants can be communicated up to seven working days before the event date. After that, changes in the number of participants are no longer possible in connection with the purchase of the ingredients/stuff. The invoice will then be based on the number of participants known at that time. It is not possible for last-minute changes.
- Workshops on location require pre-paid due to the purchase of materials/ingredients because of 2 or 3 negative experiences in the past about problem customers. Following are examples of when I didn't ask for prepaid.
-- One Organization asked me to give a workshop. They suddenly cancelled the workshop on the scheduled date when I was on the way to their place.
-- One organisation asked me to give a bento workshop for 30 people. The person in charge was irresponsible and they didn't pay the fee almost for 9 months.
-- One party asked me to give a workshop at their place. They asked for discounts and were unwilling to pay the invoiced prices.

NL: 
- De workshop op jouw locatie is beschikbaar vanaf 10 deelnemers.
- De minimale boekingsuren zijn in totaal 2 uur.
- Het aantal deelnemers is gebaseerd op Eenheidsprijs (elk 10).
- Reiskosten (vanuit Utrecht) en reistijdvergoedingen (bij meer dan 1 uur reizen) zijn apart verplicht.
- Voor kookworkshops zijn de voorbereidingskosten voor ingrediënten vereist.
- Wil je een workshop bij jou op locatie voor minder dan 10 personen, dan is de prijs gelijk aan de prijs van 10 personen.
- Wijzigingen in het aantal deelnemers kunnen tot uiterlijk zeven werkdagen voor de eventdatum worden doorgegeven. Daarna zijn wijzigingen in het aantal deelnemers niet meer mogelijk in verband met de inkoop van de ingrediënten/spullen. De factuur zal dan gebaseerd zijn op het op het op dat moment bekende aantal deelnemers. Het is niet meer mogelijk om nog last minute wijzigingen of workshops toe te voegen.
- Workshops op locatie zijn "pre-paid" ivm de inkoop van materialen/ingrediënten en vanwege 2 of 3 negatieve ervaringen in het verleden met gedoe met andere bedrijven over betaling van een factuur.
