WHAT IS THE SHAYK® VAULT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

The SHAYK Vault is a data storage service for uploading and storing any Confidential Information that is protected by a SHAYK NDA. Commonly uploaded items include code libraries, documents, photographs, recordings, transcripts, and other digital artifacts. To keep things organized, your Information will be stored with reference to whatever SHAYK NDA is applicable thereto.

HOW AND WHERE IS MY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION SECURED?

Your Confidential Information will be stored offline at a secure, undisclosed data storage facility in Canada or the United States, depending on where you are located. This upload tool is merely means for collecting the Information and distributing it to our facility for processing and storage.

DOES ANYONE ON THE SHAYK TEAM REVIEW MY CONFIRMATION INFORMATION?

No. Our system is designed to move your Confidential Information into storage without ever being accessed, opened, or otherwise reviewed by another human and/or an AI.

CAN I ACCESS MY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AFTER UPLOADING IT?

Not without cancelling your subscription, regardless of how much time is left. Our focus is on data authenticity and we cannot control what happens to your data after it leaves our system. We realize that you many options for data storage that are more user friendly, allowing you to access and modify your data as needed. That is not what we do. Instead, our focus is on ensuring that whatever Information you upload to our sysem remains authentic, unmodified, and untouched so that you obtain an authentic copy of it at a later date.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SUBSCRIPTION ENDS

Nothing. Our system is designed to store your Confidential Information indefinitely. At the end of your term, it will be moved into long-term storage and archived for future reference. You can access it anytime thereafter for a price of US$1,000 for each year after your subscription ends. For example, if you upload 1G of Confidential Information on a 1 year subscription and wish to access it six years after uploading, or five years after your subscription expires, then it will cost you $5,000 to obtain an authenticaed copy.

CAN YOU DELETE MY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION FOR ME?

We can delete your Confidential Information upon request. Please complete this form to make that happen. We do not charge for deletion if you make the request within your subscription period. After subscription period, a cost of US$100 is required to retrieve your Information from long-term storage and delete it. Either way we will provide you with written confirmation that the Information has been destroyed. To ensure that the location of data storage facility remains confidential, no other form of vefification is offered.

CAN THE SHAYK TEAM HELP ME ENFORCE AN EXECUTED SHAYK NDA?

No. Our parent company (Shayk Technologies, Inc.) is not a law firm and executing the SHAYK NDA does not form an attorney-client relationship with anyone, meaning that we cannot help you with enforcement.

CAN THE SHAYK TEAM REFER ME TO ANOTHER WHO CAN HELP WITH ENFORCEMENT?

Yes. To help with this, we offer the SHAYK® Enforcer - a legal referral service for finding, qualifying, engaging, and retaining a licensed professional who is qualified and motivated to help you enforce your rights under the SHAYK NDA and related laws.
