FAQ
WHAT IS THE SHAYK® DOCKET AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The SHAYK Docket is an automated service for tracking important deadlines and providing up to four co-responsible parties with advanced reminders and written records of the communications..
WHY NOT JUST USE A CALENDAR INVITE?
Some deadlines are confidential in nature, making it important to track them in a discrete manner that does not involve the use of calendar resources that are accessible to others. In complement, some deadlines are so important that success or failure cannot be left to a calendar invite.
CAN A LAWYER TRACK THIS DEADLINE FOR ME?
Yes. Many professional service firms (including law firms) utilize some form of docketing system to track client deadlines and prompt a human team member to send a humuan-drafted reminder that has been customized to meet your needs, often including relevant updates and options. The SHAYK Docket is intended to be a basic docketing servcie that is more cost-effective by comparison. Hire a professional if more is required.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MISS THE DEADLINE?
SHAYK is not responsible for any consequences associated with missing any deadlines added to the SHAYK Docket because this service is limited to sending reminders to the above-noted parties based on this form and providing a written record confirming that the reminders have been sent.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I POPULATE THE FORM INCORRECTLY?
This is a fully automated service. The SHAYK team will not review any of the information and is therefore not responsible for its accuracy. Accordingly, if you populate the form incorrectly, then you will need to redo it at your expense. We therefore request that you double check the information before pressing send.
